That's amazing. I just did a Mapquest check for the mileage from Slow Lo to Tucson and it said it was 190.96 miles. I recall reading about the big Tillamook Burn forest fire in Oregon in 1933 which had ash falling 500 miles out to sea. It was comprised of 4 fires, the first in 1933, and then 6 years apart in what was called "The 6 years jinx" -- 1939, 1945 and 1951. Here are the stats:
