My pleasure, and thanks for your analysis. But, my question remains to you, AmishDude - what took the WP so LONG to report this? I'm not alleging a plot to sabatoge him, but I am certainly questioning why the WP did not report this at any time in the past - in 2002, 2001, or Nov 2000. Are they that slow at the keyboard???? :)!

Well, it seems like somebody, namely

Democratic stalwart Joe Browder, another leading Everglades environmentalist and a former Carter administration official, leaked information about the airport to Nader in order to ratchet up the pressure on Gore.

wanted to get his name in the paper as being influential. Otherwise, I don't think the writer has an agenda so much as an obvious point of view -- that Greenies cost Algore the election.
