TOP 10 REASONS TO BRUSH-OFF BUSH IN 2004 (gag)

UPROOT 90-1 BUSH IN 2004

Bush has tied up 90% of federal revenues to help 1% of the nation's wealthiest become richer.

He has left little or no federal revenue available to help poor Americans have a better life.

Bush's 90-1 policy causes millions of Americans to suffer everyday of their lives.

TOP 10 REASONS TO BRUSH-OFF BUSH IN 2004 1. Recently Bush defined himself, and his presidency, by turning his back on career EPA employees who authored a far ranging overview of how global warming will drastically affect the United States over the next half century by calling them "bureaucrats."

2. Since taking office, Bush has dismantled environmental safeguards within and without the United States ensuring drastic, deadly, consequences for the world's population for centuries to come.

3. Bush failed to safeguard the United States against terrorists.

4. By using 90% of the nation's tax revenue to fund bloated defense contracts, Bush has left no revenue available to meet the needs of millions of desperately poor Americans who rely upon social security, Medicare, Medicaid, and other federally funded social programs to survive.

5. Bush has violated the law by refusing to cooperate with a Congressional investigation and comply with a federal subpoena into his dealings with Enron and the effect of those dealings upon America's energy policy.

6. Bush has failed to provide leadership in foreign affairs.

7. Bush has earned the disrespect of America's allies through incompetence and inexperience - in particular, he has shown indifference to the plight of Muslims in favor of the State of Israeli, to the chagrin and horror of the Arab world.

8. Bush has displayed an aimlessness when called upon to solve critical issues confronting the economic stability of the United States.

9. Bush has refused to be forthcoming about his insider energy dealings and his family's connections to defense contractors, resorting to requiring his cabinet officers to run interference for him instead of stepping up to the plate and assuming full responsibility for his administration's failures and lack of ethics in its dealings.

10. Bush has repeatedly demonstrated that he is puppet of big business. Bush is a pawn of, and at the disposal of, the nation's wealthiest citizens

As George W. Bush knows, it is impossible to serve two mistresses, i.e., using 90% of American's tax revenue to make 1% of America's wealthiest people and corporations get a lot richer, meanwhile leaving no tax revenue available to help the nation's neediest, poorest, sickest, the underprivileged, the children, and the senior citizens."

the libs must have a preprinteed form with these allegations already printed where they just have to insert the name of the republican they want to attack because this is the same argument they use against every conservative

"As George W. Bush knows, it is impossible to serve two mistresses..."

Whereas our "Hero", Slick Willy the liberal, was able to have as many mistresses serving him as Hitlery would allow!

These liberal assholes are really on the special kool aid these days!

by turning his back on career EPA employees who authored a far ranging overview of how global warming will drastically affect the United States over the next half century by calling them "bureaucrats."

But, by definition, they *are* bureucrats. What's the problem?

Oh, you mean he had the temerity to remind them that Al Gore didn't win the election?

If the accusations in 1-5 and 7 were actually true, we would have a better country. If only 90% of our federal budget were allocated to defense . . .

One would have to be very hard left to believe GWB had actually accomplished any serious steps toward these goals.

So, you've given us ONE decent critique of the President, and that is merely a critique of politics today. Nice try. So says a "basher", by the way, who has done FAR more qualitative criticing of the man's policies!!

Bush has dismantled environmental safeguards within and without the United States ensuring drastic, deadly, consequences for the world's population for centuries to come.
Bush has merely stopped the Clinton-Gore EPA freight train from the inevitable wreck.

Bush failed to safeguard the United States against terrorists.
So blatantly false it defies intelligent response.

Same as # 3

Bush has violated the law by refusing to cooperate with a Congressional investigation and comply with a federal subpoena into his dealings with Enron and the effect of those dealings upon America's energy policy.
Bush was never subpoenaed, he let the normal channels do their investigation. Unlike Clinton who micromanaged all JD calls.

# 6 is another non-intelligent response.

.#7...he has shown indifference to the plight of Muslims in favor of the State of Israeli, to the chagrin and horror of the Arab world.
No chagrin here, Israel is our ally and friend. The Arabs want our money while granting and helping their Puppet Arafat destroy Israel, but they won’t give them land or a homeland. Tell those oil rich Princes, we don’t need their oil and watch them run to the American side!

# 8 is totally false.

Bush has refused to be forthcoming about his insider energy dealings ......Both Bush and the VP were open and painstaking in their disclosure and dumping holdings. Something Al Gore never did with his Occidental Oil.

As a capitalist country, without “big business” there would be no business, no trade, no economy etc....stupid and class envy rhetoric.

Consider the source of these remarks, they come from a Socialist in a Socialist country who wants his government to care for him cradle to grave.

11. Bush has turned his back on veterans by opposing "concurrent receipt" of veterans disability compensation and military retirement for those entitled to both!

This followed his empty promises to improve veterans and military benifits during his campaign.

OK, well let's see, why did I vote for the guy:

Taxes are too high. But the tax bill he promoted puts off almost all the tax reduction until after he is out of office--so I see the result as being the same as if Gore had been elected.

The judiciary is not committed to defending the constitution and applying the law--but half the judicial nominees we get are the same guys Gore would have nominated; the rest, Bush does nothing to get confirmed; so I see myself as being the same as if Gore had been elected.

The FBI, CIA, and NSA are wasteful ineffective bureaucracies, run by nitwits no one would hire to do any meaningful job in the private enterprise system and most of whom are holdover Clinton appointees. Tom Ridge is an awfully nice guy but he is not very smart and is hopelessly ineffective--his only qualifications for this job are that he is a Marine and won an election. Bush won't take effective measures to secure the borders or to kick illegals out or to find the Islams who are attacking us so I see myself as being the same as if Gore had been elected.

There is no rational basis on which you keep pilots from carrying guns--in fact, if guns are a reasonable protected constitutional right, every pilot with a photo ID should be carrying a gun if he wants to do so--and this turkey Mineta that Clinton appointed to be Transportation secretary and his assistant Turkey McGraw that is also a Clinton appointee is still keeping us from exercising our second amendment rights. Getting rid of exactly this kind of person is one of the reasons I voted for Bush. I see myself as being the same as if Gore had been elected.

Adding grain alchol to gasoline; modifying No. 2 diesel; and the other various Environmental schemes for making our fuel supply less certain and more expensive are just an extension of the Gore program for trying to keep us from using our cars --no benefit to us; Archer Daniel Midlands may benefit but no one else does. On each of these issues, I see myself as being the same as if Gore had been elected.

I recognize that the reason our energy security has deterioriated is because Congress is standing on his airhose. On the other hand, Natural Gas is one of the primary domestic sources everyone would agree to support but instead, we still have wells that are not getting drilled because of Alternate Minimum Tax and other tax policies that discourage any contribution from domestic energy. I see myself as being the same as if Gore had been elected.

I want to buy smallpox vaccine for my wife, and my son, and myself--I can afford to pay for it, full price. But on another thread, I have some nitwit bureaucrat apologist for Bush's CDC telling me I cannot have it because I might infect someone with AIDs who has a bad immune system. Responsibility for this decision I believe goes back to Tommy Thompson, another liberal Bush appointee who could not get a real job anywhere and whose only qualification for the job is winning an election some years ago. I see myself as being the same as if Gore had been elected.

I am building a house. I want to buy Canadian softwood to frame it with but the Canadian's don't ship it here any more because they can't sell it because Bush has imposed a duty that makes it unconomic. I can't use domestic softwood either--the quality is poor and the EPA continues to hassel the domestic lumber industry so they can't produce at any reasonable competative price. Can't use steel to frame with either because Bush has also put a tariff on that too. I see myself as being the same as if Gore had been elected.

The economy is in the tank. We are at the end of an economic long wave cycle; there are no domestic savings (we spend all of our net personal income on consumption) because there is no after tax incentive to save and invest and provide for capital formation. All we get from this administration are a bunch of platitudes about how things will get better in the ordinary course of events but in fact, things are getting much worse and draconian action is required--nothing is happening. I see myself as being the same as if Gore had been elected.

I think this guy has been a great cheerleader and a lousy president. Maybe I don't agree with a lot of what Uproot 90-1 says but I am not going to vote for Bush again either.

Don't you think it might be prudent to wait until you know what your choices are before making a decision?

Would you waste a vote that might keep Hillary out of the WH?

George Bush may be goofy but this is a bit much. Why not also blame Bush for acne and dandruff. It seems he is guilty of everything else. LOL. What a crock this is.

"Would you waste a vote that might keep Hillary out of the WH?"

Yes.

I assume the Democrat ticket is going to be Gore-Hillary.

But if you look back at the period from 1988 on, the most successful interval for us was the period Hillary was on a roll with her health care plan. If you look at the electorate, they don't really understand much about economics, free enterprise, and constitutional liberty. The problem we have is bad leadership on our side of the table, in part the result of liberal control of the media.

We might not get good leadership as a result of terminating Bush--but it is for sure that we won't get good leadership as long as we have Bush so he needs to go. I don't know whether or not Simon is going to be any good; among other things, it looks to me as though the liberal republicans are coopting his campaign and political position--but the circumstances that led to Simon were total complete defeat for the liberal republicans.

The problem is that you have no choice in this "Two-Party Cartel" Bring in more parties on an equal basis & maybe the people will become the issue to deal with. But if our vote really meant anything do you believe that it would then be allowed?
