Musharraf 'ready' for India

PAKISTANI troops will "teach India a lesson" if it invades Kashmir, President Pervez Musharraf said in a television interview.

The military leader said he "couldn't care less" about India's recent moves to scale down the tension between the nuclear-armed rivals in the BBC interview first aired yesterday.

"We don't see de-escalation as a response," Musharraf said.

"We couldn't care less whether they de-escalate or not," he added.

"We are totally prepared for them and we will teach them a lesson if they come across the Line of Control.

"They dare not violate our international border, they dare not violate the Line of Control. We will teach them a lesson on the ground, in the air."

This reads like from a month ago. Didn't he get his talking points from Armitage and Rumsfeld?

Lol! Perverted Perverse Pervez! Anyway by the standards of hardcore islamists, this picture is befitting of a fatwa.

Musharraf's photograph with dogs annoys Saudi royal family ? New Delhi, Oct 30, 2000?: The Asian Age newspaper's headline news service reported that "Two Pekinese dogs had come in the way of efforts by Pakistan's military ruler General Pervez Musharraf to improve relations with Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Royal family has taken offence to a photograph in which General Musharraf has posed with his dogs and his wife. The royal family has said that it looks upon such displays as un-Islamic". (D)

That's why it's especially poignant when islamist sites show pictures of Dubya holding his dogs as one did. It's really an insult to Bush.

Anyone this hung up on dogs is at least a hump shy of a camel. Dog are great; for playing catch or sauteed as the Koreans prefer, but verboten for the prancing princes of araby and their misbegotten, misguided subjects.

Here's the bright side of the ISSA. (Islamic States of Saudi America). It's better than:

The Islamic Kingdom of Saudi America.

Musharraf's Pekinese threaten his relationship with the Tragic Kingdom.
