Moussaoui's Mother Defends Son [MEGA BARF]

WASHINGTON -- The mother of accused Sept. 11 accomplice Zacarias Moussaoui says her son grew up loving American movies and clothes, and only turned bitter against the United States after being jailed last summer.

"For me, he's not a killer, because he promised me that he didn't do anything," Aicha el-Wafi told CNN's "Larry King Live."

Moussaoui, who declared in an Alexandria, Va., courtroom in April that he was praying for the destruction of the United States, has suffered during his incarceration, his mother said through a translator.

I think Moussaoui wants a lawyer named Freeman, who, indeed, has a crummy record in Texas. Mom hired a lawyer from California (I do believe) named Hamad and Moussaoui refused to meet with him.
