A growing number of U.S. cities are accepting Mexican ID cards" in order to give immigrants better access to city services! If they were legally here, they'd have the proper documents to get services. So, ipso facto, this is to help illegal immigrants beat the system. "Chicago is the latest city to vote to recognize Mexican ID cards", according to the AP story on Newsmax.com. Long way from the border, folks! Los Angeles is mentioned as "among those cities." Cutting edge destructive economics from California again.
With the current climate of piling on bandwagons as the political decision-making du jour, guess how this idea is going to spread. Acceptance of the Mexican ID is going to help access things like "borrowing books from libraries, financial services like opening bank accounts, and 'other services.' " The open sesame phrase is "other services." They don't come here to read!!
Termites at work again. Washington makes half-hearted noises about stopping the flood of illegals across the borders and the Democrat-run cities are putting out the welcome mat. Thousands of American workers are losing their jobs, and the cities are piling on the pass-along costs to taxpayers whose incomes are at risk. Low income families and many middle-income families are unable to pay for medical insurance and out-of-pocket costs. Way to go, offer "other (unspecified) services" to those holding Mexican ID cards only?? Not to worry, go to the feds for "more help for cities impacted by the loss of jobs."
There's a hole in the bucket, dear Henry and Henrietta. In fact lots of holes. And the holes in the heads of the elected officials are becoming just as numerous as the ones in Henry's and Henrietta's bucket.
As soon as enough of them get here - they will vote the same politicians out of office and vote themselves in - to be in charge of the rest of us!!!!!!!
