This is rather disturbing. We are supposedly at war with those who would take away our freedoms, yet the religious right has formed a coalition with the Islamists to lobby the UN. They have been helped along by the Bush Administration.
I fully support the war on terrorism, but I'd like an explanation as to why the religious right is so unpatriotic as to form an unholy alliance with the Islamists.

The UN is run by a bunch of cultural terrorists whose extreme left-wing "let none escape from the womb" eugenics approach to population control (much the same as the Nazis), radical environmentalism and pro-homosexual agendas must be defeated. Unfortunately the Islamic nations are pretty much the only countries that share a disgust with the left-wingers at the UN.

Some of us have not declared eternal (and unwinneable war) against every Muslim man, woman, and child in the world and have not branded each and every one of them as evil. You apparently have or so you comments would indicate.

"We look at them as allies, not necessarily as friends," said Austin Ruse, founder and president of the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute,"Keep your friends close but your enemies closer"

What does lobbying the UN on a gay issue have to do with anything?
I'll go one further, I'd get out of the UN all together. This issue is none of their business.

'"This alliance shows the depths of perversity of the [U.S.] position," said Adrienne Germaine, president of the International Women's Health Coalition.'
It is good to see that these folk recognize that there is such a thing as perversion. It is just that they define perversion as opposition to perversion. Well, it is a start, I suppose.

'These are the good Islamists here that we're working with!'
You seem to notice that Islamist and Islamic are two different words. Why then do you substitute 'Islamist' in an article about working with 'Islamic' forces?
To: big'ol_freeper
I don't know much about eugenics.
But it really disturbs me that supposedly patriotic Americans are holding conferences with the Islamic extremists who would use (and have used) any means possible to destroy us. As far as I'm concerned they are traitors and are aiding the terrorists.

Another hit and runner poster. How boring.
To: MarthaJane
I would tell you, but I really don't understand it myself.

Dan, we are talking children's rights and women's rights here. The big question is why is the religious right in bed with the islamic extremists who want to kill us all.
To: MarthaJane
Trators? Is Dubya a traitor for providing foreign aid to many Islamic countries and working in formal alliances with Islamic countries such as Turkey.
