How can anyone be so bitter and clueless?. You are incapable of understanding the fundamental emotion here. It's not grief ... it's an UNDERSTANDING of the grief his family, teammates and fellow players harbor, and the righteousness of the Cubs' action today. It's a sense of loss for a wonderful performer and a good father and husband. It's an appreciation of the gesture of respect and condolance that the Chicago Cubs players, staff and fans have shared with the city and team who are their oldest and most passionate rival. It's about loss to a community, and a profound tribute to them by another wonderful community. You're ill informed and you're soulless. What an ugly take you've embraced and articulated here ad nauseum. Blecchhh.
