This is the kind of thing I'm thinking. When I heard the news about Kile, the first thing I thought was about my father, who died of a heart attack at age 34.

Kile had off-season surgery, so you wonder about a lingering blood clot or aneurysm that was not detected. One rumor that I've come across here in St. Louis is an allergic reaction to a spider bite.

The above information, originally stated by Dave Campbell on ESPNEWS this afternoon, has been contradicted on the 10 p.m. Baseball Tonight broadcast. There, they stated that Kile's father died in his mid-forties of a heart attack.
