An on-field announcement (which aired live, nationwide on Fox) was made at Wrigley Field a few minutes ago. The few details that we have had on the Fox game, came from Joe Buck in the booth in Chicago.

I'm sure ESPNNEWS will carry the presser live.

Saw Buck on Fox Sports. He looked about ready to sob. Who could blame him.
