DELHI -- A 13-year-old boy who said he had been drinking beer was arrested on charges of putting a BB gun to a man's head in an attempted robbery, the Merced County Sheriff's Department reported Thursday.
Deputies said the incident occurred at about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday as the victim, 54-year-old Randall Epperly, walked along El Capitan Way near Letteau Avenue.

This criminal is darned lucky he doesn't live in a "shall issue" state. This might have been his last act, to hold a gun to this guy's head. But I'm sure he'll be fully reformed when he gets out, right?
