I received an invitation to this event in my mail this week and decided to share it with a few of my FRiends. (I typed this in from my hard copy, so misspellings and other typos are mine.)

The Associated Gun Clubs range facilities are pretty darn good, and Alex Mooney is definitely a pro RKBA politician who we need to keep in office here in Maryland.

So, shooters in MD and RKBA supporters... what better way to help raise money for a good candidate than to go to the range for a day?! I plan on bringing my whole family out for the event. Anyone else plan on going?

Alex Mooney is one of the few pro-gun state legislators left in Maryland. We can't afford to let him lose his seat to a lefty gun grabber.

I'm not a shooter, but I might be if I didn't have to support my computer habit. Do you have the address of the range?

Oh, I just noticed it's in Montgomery county. I'm in Howard county. I can't vote for the guy, but maybe I could still support.

The range is way out in the boonies, off Marriotsville Rd if I remember correctly. The Monumental Gun Club has directions on their web page (see link near the end of the announcement above). It takes me close to an hour to get to it from Montgomery County, but it shouldn't be too much of a drive for you. One of the MCSM guys lives in Burtonsville and he is a club member... I think he said it takes him half an hour to get out there. Anyway it's a nice ride; and if you're not a shooter yet, there'll be plenty of folks there to learn you! The range officers are also top knotch guys. And there are always folks who are willing to let you try out their toys. I have a photo of (little) state Representative Carmen Amedori popping off a few rounds on a .50 ! She had fun (another good RKBA rep in MD).

Mooney is a state Senator from Frederick County (maybe some of Washington and Carroll counties, too... I'm not sure). He's not my locality's senator either, but we need to help him keep his seat. My sen is Ida Ruben. Yikes!

Did you invite Ehrlich too?

I might attend if y'all will allow me to promote Jay Wolfe's U.S. Senate campaign to Garrett, Allegany, Washington, and Frederick County Marylanders. We need help in our Eartern Panhandle West Virginia border counties.

How is Wolfe doing in the polls? Does he have a chance?

Of course Wolfe has a chance. Rockef***er is an empty suit. The key is name recognition. We're installing "Wolfe US Senate" roadsigns everywhere we can. Campaign T-Shirts have been printed.. want one? only $10. No polls yet, but the key is grassroots and so far, lots of Democrats are attending Mr. Wolfe's Homemade Dessert Socials - being held in every county across the state!
