The Time Is Ripe For Crop Circles

It began with a large, mysterious pattern etched in a wheat field near Winchester, England. Colin Andrews, an electrical engineer, spotted it on his way to work in 1983.

His curiosity soon became a full-blown obsession that ruined one marriage and led to his rise as the world's best-known crop circle researcher. In the major leagues of unsolved mysteries - the Pyramids, Stonehenge and Bigfoot among them - only the crop circles have emerged within our lifetimes, and new theories surrounding them abound. Out of a cramped office on the shoreline, Andrews serves as the main keeper of these legends.

I think #3 was made in the 1920's, #6 was in 1918 and #12 was somewhere about the same year.

He wouldn't have to be under house arrest if he were a farmer. Get up before daylight every morning and say Bye Honey, gotta hitch up the team and plow crop circles in the back forty and stay gone until dark. By then she would be too exhausted from cooking, washing and chasing the kids all day to be mad at him. Instead she would be happy to see him and have his favorite meal prepared. : )
