While I don't like the idea of tracking everyone, the ability to track children intrigues me -- at least on a voluntary basis (by the parents, obviously) There are more than a couple missing, no, kidnapped (stupid media) kids right now that maybe some tech could have saved.

Isn't that such a nice, friendly gimmick. The State will "protect the children".
Baal worshipers offered up their kids "voluntarily" to death.

Well, a voluntary, private system to track children doesn't strike me personally as the Fourth Reich.
