Did you see the Greta Van Sustern show last night? I couldn't sleep in the middle of the night, so turned on the TV, and her show was on. She devoted most of the show to the Elizabeth Smart case. On one segment she had on David Hamblin, who is the bishop over the Smarts ward (congregation.) He said something I have never heard. Hamblin says he saw Bret Michael Edmunds at Shriner Hospital on Saturday evening, only he didn't know who it was at the time. (And Greta's interviewing skills stink, big time.) Greta didn't follow up with this info, such as what Saturday evening? After Elizabeth was abducted? Have you told the police this?

Bishop Hamblin did say that Edmunds had some sort of hospital pass around his neck, was standing in the area for volunteers, and seemed to know what he was doing. (Hamblin was at the hospital visiting a sick member of his ward.)

OK, so, these are my conclusions and suppositions ONLY. Elizabeth's grandfather was in the hospital for several weeks before he died. Lois Smart took her children to see their grandfather and visit almost daily...Hmm. Edmunds was pulled over for something on a street in back of the Federal Heights area, which is where he pepper sprayed the policeman and sped off. He has been seen in the neighborhood at least once. I think he has something to do with the abduction, and the police aren't saying that. Again, only my suppositions.

Gotcha. Yuck. Depressing. I just know this is not going to end well. For a while, I hoped, but now...

I'm going to poke a couple of holes in your theory.

First Shriner's is a children's hospital, the Grandfather wouldn't have been there.

And the event where Edmunds pepper sprayed the police officer that pulled him over happened in West Valley.

I'm having a hard time with this guy, trying to decide if he's involved or not. I'm starting to think that hes' not, just realized the entire world was looking for him, so he took off. I do hope he has some information though that will give the police some more clues.

I would think that it would have been the Saturday before the vigil that Edmonds was also seen at. By the following Saturday, hadn't they already shifted the search headquartes to the LDS church and then decentralized the search effort all by Saturday?

I keep thinking that Edmunds didn't have anything to do with it until I remember that he was seen at the vigil and now among the volunteers. If both of those sightings were Edmunds then I think that he did it or was directly involved. If he did it, then she is probably not alive anymore like we have been saying. Last week I kept thinking that she is still alive. Now, I seriously doubt it. How sad.

Sorry... I had to walk away from the computer, the Fox News stuff ended shortly after I stopped posting. MSNBC is covering it now. I was trying to see if the white thing in Edmunds car that was hung over the drivers seat nn the early pictures was still on the car seat. I did not see it today. ( I think the white thing hanging over the seat in the first pictures of the car parked is the white jacket that was seen by MK. I bet alot people did not notice it in the early pictures.) I see he removed the yellow triangle sign and the flag from the back of the window and of course the car has different Utah plates on it now. I have to get off here, but I will watching the TV tonight.
