This case is a bit weird - hence the off the wall speculation (IMO). Suppose you're a criminal. If you want to kidnap a girl, why on earth would you pick SLC where about a gazillion volunteers would be on the lookout for you and neighbors take notice? Why not pick LA or Miami where girls disappear all the time?

I still hold out hope and pray that Elizabeth is OK and will escape unscathed. But this case is just plain weird. IMO. Your mileage may vary...

You are right, the abductor could very well have been familiar with the house layout. However, there would/could have been any number of people familiar with the house besides family.

The house was apparently listed for sale, so there may have been many persons looking at the home.

The house had apparently had a lot of remodeling work, so any number of workers could have been in the house.

I still say she probably left with a boy friend or someone she met on the internet. I know, I know. They have said she didn't have boyfriends and didn't work with the computer. They have said a lot of other things, too. I saw the interview with Hannity and her father did not act like I would have acted if I thought there was any possibility that my daughter was dead. After his crying, there was not a tear in his eyes.

uh...well...if you LIVE in SLC and the girl you have SEEN and who is obsessing your dreams also lives there, you abduct her THERE, for that is where she IS!
