Alexis Patterson of Milwaukee has been missing for 7 weeks.

Thanks MozartLover. I have heard of this missing little girl. This is such a sick sad world when innocent children are taken from their homes or just walking along the street. I would urge all states to get the Rachael alert system. Here is just a bit of information about the Rachael alert system:

The Rachael Alert is part of the nation-wide "Amber plan", named for Amber Hagerman, a 9-year-old who was abducted and murdered in Texas in 1996.

Utah is the ninth state to establish such a program, along with a number of cities and counties.

The Rachael alert system is why there was such a rapid response to Elizabeth's kidnapping. I don't know what the reason is (totally) for such widespread coverage of Elizabeth's abduction, but I hope in the future, missing children get a better break.
