Thats one hell of an incriminating journal. Hard to believe the police could keep that tidbit out of the paws of the mainstream media. IMO the only real difference between NE and the pristine, establishment media is that it pays sources.

As long as police are saying in their press conferences that nothing found on the computers has any relevance to the abduction, the mainstream media's editors won't let them print the titillating stuff. As far as I know, the journal has not been mentioned by police in their press conferences, and since it's reported contents are directly related to the "not relevant" contents of the computers, I think it's off limits to mainstream media as well. The instant a mainstream media outlet identifies anything they can credibly claim as a connection between the abduction and the titillating side stories, they'll print the latter.
