There are "rumbles" that ex-president Bill Clinton will join the legendary "Saturday Night Live" blues-singing duo "The Blues Brothers" onstage at a Connecticut casino "weekend extravaganza," reports Chicago Sun-Times gossip maven Michael Sneed.
Fresh from being cleared of vote-trading charges in the Pardongate scandal, Clinton will "don a black hat, sunglasses and his saxophone" and perform along with Dan Ackroyd and Jim Belushi at the Mohican Sun gambling resort, Sneed predicted Friday.
Belushi will be filling in for his late brother John, who created the dark-suited, sunglass-wearing Chicago bluesmen Jake and Elwood Blues before dying of a drug overdose in 1983.
During the 1992 presidential campaign, Clinton donned sunglasses and played his saxaphone on the Arsenio Hall TV show.

I guess they are no longer on a mission from God. However, I imagine there will be a lot more "Carrie Fisher" type characters showing up with some "issues" with the newest Blues Brother...

Will Clinton appear in the movie version? ;-)

I hope Clinton fills in on the drug overdose part as well.

at the end of the original blues brothers they end up in joliet if I am not mistaken so I think he would fit perfectly

Obviously, certain segments of the press does...which is why you see at least one piece a day about this piece of...uh...person. They just have to keep the name "Clinton" out there in the public's mind...it's like a serious drug habit for some of these people, you know...

So much for gravitas, decorum, and dignity. The man continues to belittle the office.

I was just there last week.
He will NOT divert the attention of all those little old ladies at the slot machines. They won't even know what time it is, much less who the entertainment is.

This here's the story 'bout Bubba the moocher,
he was a low-down hoochie-koocher.
My appologies to Cab calloway for that.

So right you are.

There have been some predictions of a terrorist attack on Vegas. It could be there will be a host of "blues bros." But I'd a lot rather BILLDO and SHRILLERY had their own private BLUES shindig. . . that took their emotional state as low as their morals.

There is nothing this man won't do to embarrass himself. Is there any doubt now that Clinton was more interested in being a celebrity than the President of the United States?

You beat me to it. This would have been a much more enjoyable article with a name change and Roger filling in for his late brother Bill.
