A statement by Mr. Arafat yesterday called for a halt to "terrorist activity against innocent people, Israeli and Palestinian civilians."
Palestinian officials do not define as civilians any Jews who live in East Jerusalem or on lands not held by Israel before 1967.

After eight years of parsing Clinton's statements, we have to accept this from a terrorist like Arafat too? I think not. Throw his ass in an Israeli jail!

There are over 1 million Arabs living in Israel, along with 4.9 million Jews. There is nothing to prevent any of them from moving to the West Bank or Gaza, yet one never hears of any of them doing so. One wonders whether the true peace plan would not be for Israel to incorporate these territories and administer them.
