Ted Turner is getting blasted with his own bomb.

In an ill-timed British newspaper interview on Tuesday, the CNN founder dropped a heavy opinion.

"The Israelis, they've got the most powerful military machines in the world. The Palestinians have nothing," Mr. Turner told the London-based Guardian. "So who are the terrorists? I would make a case that both sides are engaged in terrorism."

The really funny thing , is that most Europeans think CNN is too pro-Israel. Which says a lot about Europeans.

C.N.N. is nothing more then a clintoon rag and Ted Turner is a rich ass. Anything bad that happens to either is cheered on this front.

I would make a case

Boris Stroganohv! That case has already been made by the Palestinian defenders ("...they're using the only weapons they have [against innocent civilians in an undeclared war], their bodies").

Racist/Theolophobe Ted Turner is only spouting it so he will look smart. The man's argument for colorization of movies was "color's better". He CAN NOT see an issue in terms of black and white.

Meanwhile, one Israeli government spokesman advised Mr. Turner, "If people assume you are stupid, it is just best to keep your mouth shut,"

The full phrase (it was quoted on G. Gordon Liddy's program) paraphrasing "...or else you'll let them find out for certain".

For the full record, the proper phrase is as follows:

It is better to keep your mouth shut and thought a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt!

Hey Ted -- we report, you decide.

This phrase should be credited to its originator, Abraham Lincoln.

Interesting. I have always seen that quote attributed to Mark Twain, and these websites do as well:

http://www.geocities.com/wulff rith_47/Quotes_clemens.html

http://gladstone.uoregon.edu/~ mlewis/q-anon.html (This website says it's sometimes attributed to Twain, Lincoln and Ben Franklin)

http://www.ling.helsinki.fi/~w idenius/clemens.html

http://www.hip-co.com/wildcat/quotes.htm (This one attributes it to Lincoln).

Oh well.

I also noticed it was attributed to Confucius. I think it may have been his quote originally, as he has a few years on the others.

"I regret any implication that I believe the actions taken by Israel to protect its people are equal to terrorism,"

Just like every other Liberal I know, the thought process is: "...say whatever you want I can always apologize later..." This is just Par for the Course for The Billionaire w/ a Big Mouth! It also is how ALL of the DemoncRATS in Washington are too! #42,His for show only Spouse,Dasschle,Mr.Lemmings Mr.Blather and Mr.Jokaw,to mention a few.
