An immigrant -- documented or not -- who agrees to learn English, get a job and pay taxes should receive the same health, education and welfare benefits as any other California citizen, an independent, bipartisan government advisory panel said Tuesday.

Sounds good on paper...right? Wrong!!
This doesn't work because 80% of the illegal aliens are CHILDREN!
Here is California these children consume public resources, return little to our society and statistically are economic failures as adults (never pay back more in taxes than they consumed).
This really frosts me,,, I PAY 27percent in taxes and what bennies do I get,, zilch,, zero,, nadda! Damn,,, I'm ready to move to a free county. I give. Lee308
It also seems the gubernatorial candidates will put up with anything. Simon, the so-called Republican candidate, aired his first campaign commericial in Spanish. What does that tell you about his "determination" to stop the illegal invasion of California? There isn't any!!
I am afraid California is a lost cause. I'm just glad I left my native state 30+ years ago. It breaks my heart to say it, but Aztlan will be a reality within 20 years, with the full connivance of both major U.S. political parties.
I hope California is going to pay for all this. Does one states decision make us all pay?
After we change Governors-- it won't seem like such a good idea. /sarcasm
Deceiving. there is a "left-right" unity of interests in many big businesses and guilt liberal factions of the left.
"Driver's licenses"
Very key. Vicente Fox has demanded this specific goal. Reason? To destroy American truckers and transportation workers so businesses can make a few extra bucks for their management. A key "topic" in the immigration agenda. Hurts disproportionately Hispanic and Black Americans.
This is quite a piece of work. Like grouping "documented" and "undocumented" together as one. "...who agrees to learn English, get a job and pay taxes should receive the same health, education and welfare benefits as any other California citizen,"
Very vague. "Agrees." Other meaning - one who takes a job away from an American trying to support a family.

The operating document is "We The People: Helping Newcomers Become Californians". Of course, again, blending illegals with legals.
Do nothing while we go off the cliff, and see what happens...
America will follow.
