Here are some reviews. My review will be here on Saturday. Looks my kind of sci-fi but I am always prepared to be disappointed. Looks to be *out there* just like "Total Recall" and "Blade Runner" which were also taken from Philip K. Dick stories.
Any other reviews and opinions are appreciated.

I would like to see it, but Spielberg's shmoozing up to Bubba and betrayal of the Boy Scouts turns me against his movies.

I saw a "Making Of" Minority Report on HBO today and it really looks terrific. One great thing is that they consulted futurists about what the future would be like in 50 years and incorporated many of their ideas into this flick. One example is spam ads wherever you look such as on walls of buildings. If you get a chance, watch that HBO special. This is one movie I am really looking forward to.

I don't like Tom Cruise. I don't like Spielberg. But I will be seeing this pic and giving me review on Saturday but you don't need me ...... Just take a look at rotten tomatoes website. The reviews are good. This will be a super slick sci-fi thriller in my humble opinion!

Spielberg's last Sci-Fi flick was a real bomb---"AI." However, this flick looks like a winner.

I just came back from seeing the movie.
The ads you describe are far more nefarious than Spam. The "billboards" read your retina, learn your name, product preferences, and everything else about you. Then they customize a message for you as you walk by.
Yipes!
Philip K. Dick was always fascinated with free will vs. determinism and the nature of time. This movie reflects those fascinating issues.
This is an action flic, a futuristic special effects extravaganza, a social commentary, but for me most importantly a movie that encouraged you to engage your brain cells.
