Bill Cosby is right. What he is in essence saying is the folowing : Ozzy Osbourne and his family , like this country , need God . To watch and glorify the Osbournes is like purposefully watching a poisoned sick puppy slowly die and choke on his own vomit . To hear President Bush glorify the Osbournes at the White House Correspondents association dinner was doubley sad , insane and shameful of a U.S. President .
How would those who do so feel if Ozzy went the way of others like him ,and died one day of a drug overdose , or one in his family , or several ? If any oppose what is said here , so be it . Eternal wisdom is eternal , cannot be opposed , and you only defeat yourself .

His past substance abuse is only a part of it (I am not even aware if he still drinks). Ozzy and Sharon have aged in a rock & roll lifestyle but the question remains, how much have they grown up?
Ozzy does have interest in his kids lives but there still is some impression that he's trying to be their "cool friend" maybe more than their dad.
One of the daughters has refused to participate in the program.
The hostile housing situations that MTV has been crafting on "The Real World" are far worse. There are people who have serious mental issues who are thrown into rooming with strangers for a tv show. The pressure seems to be there to "cut loose" and party hard or hook up with one or more of the roommates. One woman was a chronic alcoholic and almost died in a season opener. Another woman had mental problems from a tick bite. And so on.
It may appear that they are trying for "slice of life" but the producers seem to be trying for trysts and conflicts to keep things "interesting".

He didn't "glorify" Ozzy at all. Go back and watch the clip of the dinner again.

I heard that and I didn't take it as glorifying.. You need to understand Texan.. I took his comments as anything but glorifying, but in a nice sort of way and Ozzie didn't know what happened and I guess some others didn't either.

Ozzy doesn't tolerate drug use in his own house, I believe he had a fit when one of the kids even talked about smoking the weed.

Bill Cosby is right. What he is in essence saying is the folowing : Ozzy Osbourne and his family , like this country , need God .Like when he was sleeping around on his wife and fathering other children. He's so religious and good. You obviously fell for his image and can't see reality. Much like him.
