I met Bill Cosby numerous times at Edwards Stadium in 1987, where he worked out in the mornings while filming a movie called "Ghost Dads" in Berkeley, California. After a couple of weeks of chatting with him, Cosby asked the Black kids on our team to come to his car; he opened the trunk and gave them free addidas spikes (racing shoes). White, Asian, and Hispanic kids were out of luck. While I enjoyed Cosby's show and it was nice of him to spend time with us, I continue to resent his racially discriminatory actions that day.

I've got a Cosby story for you:
Back in the early 70's my (white) niece and nephew were at LAX waiting with thier parents for a flight to arrive. Cosby scooped them up, one in each arm, and started carrying them around, I guess he was just goofing off. Mind you these two looked like Norman Rockwell models but...

They had no idea who this guy was, and they started screaming "Daddy! Mommy! Some N*gr is kidnapping us!!! HELP!!!
My niece even bit him, and my nephew was punching him as hard as an 8-year old could.

Needless to say he put them down and apologized to my sister and brother-in-law. The whole story is quite amazing, and he probably hasn't liked white kids since

Ghost Dad. Absolutely one of the worst films ever made.
