That's what I'm concerned about. New social programs before the old ones are gone.
I have children. What will their tax rate be 10 years from now? Social programs buy votes!
There's still the issue of better health care for the poor. When will it end?

I hope we can get Medicare privatized eventually...this is going to spin out of control within a few decades (at the most) if that doesn't happen, especially if more liberal officials get ahold of this somewhere along the line. This is a risky move.

The GOP bill also works by giving seniors the freedom to choose among private insurance policies to be offered in the insurance marketplace.

This part offers at least a dim ray of hope toward that goal I mentioned in my previous post.
