BERKELEY, Calif. -- How about some sugar and cream with that coffee? Or maybe you'd like some "PC" coffee instead? Berkeley May Ban Non-PC Coffee
If Measure Passes, Violators Could Get Jail Time

Some folks in Berkeley, Calif., are calling for only "politically correct coffee" to be sold inside the city limits.
Attorney Rick Young has turned in 3,000 signatures at City Hall. They support an initiative allowing coffee brewed for sale to be made only from organic, shade-grown or Fair Trade certified beans.
To qualify the measure for the November ballot, just over 2,000 of those signatures must be valid.
If the measure makes it to the ballot and is approved -- retailers will have three months to comply. Violators could be punished by up to six months in jail and a $100 fine.
......it wasn't.
There must be something about the coffee tree that it thrives under the normally suffocating cloak of tyranny and is quenched by the blood of innocents.
That being said, is there really a P.C. coffee?

Guns Before Butter.
Sugar??? Not from farms that use migrant workers!
Cream??? Not from cows that are raised on farms!
Furthermore, the coffee should by heated by renewable sources, such as solar.
And, the coffee should be delivered by electric powered trucks.
Only union labor should be used to pour the coffee
There must be something about the coffee tree that it thrives under the normally suffocating cloak of tyranny and is quenched by the blood of innocents.
Can I submit a candidate for Post of the Day?
Illegally armed men fence off pristene public land in California wilderness to grow crops they sell for cash, never paying taxes.
And in BC, enormously environmentally destructive energy intensive private covert greenhouses are used for the cash crop.

That being said, is there really a P.C. coffee?Yes -- the rarest and most expensive coffee in the world could probably be classified as PC, simply because of it's source. It's called Kopi Luwak, and only a handful of companies sell it. From RavensBrew.com:
"The Luwak (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) denizen of the coffee (kopi) plantations of Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi, eats only the ripest coffee cherries. And no, this isn't from The Onion - it really exists.
Unable to digest the coffee beans the Luwak graciously deposits them on the jungle floor where they are eagerly collected by the locals.
The stomach acids and enzymatic action involved in this unique fermentation process produces the beans for the worlds rarest coffee beverage."
And no, I haven't tasted it.
I don't plan to either, so if anyone else does, you can let me know.
It's so weird, the way the '60s radicals and hippies, who were protesting and resisting the constraints of "The Establishment," have become more oppressive and stricture-oriented in every way except for non-heterosexual sex. And even in that they can be seen as oppressive towards those who do not approve of (or even participate in) non-heterosexual sex.
They deserve it.
