"It is a race to see who can first cross the yellow-dotted line that is the border separating San Diego from Tijuana."

How about we make it like the race across No-Man's-Land at the Somme ...

... into the teeth of massed machinegun fire.

Where do they find the idiots to work on these third-tier newspapers? And someone named Sanchez writing a news story that in reality is an editorial. Just like the Dallas Morning News using its crew of gay guys to report on the gay community. And this one doesn't even attempt to pretend. She is simply parroting Vicente Fox's party line. I don't have a problem with Fox saying these things. After all, it is his job to see to the best interests of Mexicans. What I do resent is that we have no one representing our best interests here in the U.S. When was the last time a Mexican newspaper ran a story sympathetic to Tom Tancredo, publishing his words for the gospel truth, written by someone with an Anglo last name? I hope this newspaper gets bombarded with letters.

But Fox is right to call for legalization in the United States of an estimated 3 million to 5 million Mexicans now living and working in the United States, as well as expanding the number of temporary visas.

Pure liberal BS. As Americans rebel against their agenda, more junk like this will appear in our papers and on TV until the chorus of whinning liberals is too loud to ignore. Finally, the American public that opposses illegal aliens and amnesty for the 15 million that reside north of the border will be vitually shamed for having an opinion counter to that of the politically oorrect left.

Why don't the mexicans just fix their own damn country?

I swear, they act like they deserve to jump the fence and catch a free ride on America's back.. till of course it withers and then, hey! There's always Canada!

What sucks is that as this swarm of locusts leaves us and moves on to a fresh host, we are the ones who will be left picking up the pieces. They will be long gone.

The U.S. government ought to provide funds so that all poor and homeless Americans can illegally relocate to Mexico. Then we would demand that the Mexican government grant them amnesty. Then we would put pressure on the Mexican government to provide them with housing, jobs, welfare, medical care, educational services, driver's licenses, etc. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
