Cong. Tancredo stated recently that there have been over 20 incursions of Mexican troops into our territory ostensibly to provide cover for drug runners. Also, it is a fact that shots have been fired at our Border Patrol during this time frame. If we had real leaders instead of these pansies that run both political parties troops would've been dispatched immediately because those were acts of war and should've been dealt with the full brunt of our military.

Who's your definition of a "real leader?"

Given how much angst is present over the War Against the Terrorists, AFTER the terrorists killed 3,000 Americans...just how do you think we'd get massive support for hitting Mexico with the "full brunt of our military" over a few episodes that didn't even result in one fatality?

Does the multi-billion dollar drug smuggling figure in as an episode? How many fatalities? Considering much of this is aimed at kids, how much damage does it do there?

While we ignore all that I guess we should wait for something big to come across so we can get a whole bunch of people dead at once effect.

Certainly we don't need to invade Mexico to resolve the incursion into our territory by Mexican troops. But surely we should do something before one of our Border Patrol agents is killed? They have been shot at on a few occasions, I understand.

I can't define a real leader since we've not had one in my lifetime although a couple Presidents have come close. Anyway, we have our military in numerous countries guarding borders and sections of certain regions to PREVENT hostile action. These policing duties have increased steadily over the years and if our government can spend billions of our dollars to assist UN and NATO initiatives then why the hell can't they do the same to protect our borders from rapists, murderers, Al Quaeda and who knows what other vermin. What's your solution..wait until a Border Patrol agent is murdered or a Ariz. rancher is ruined by illegals killing parts of his herd?
