I was among the people who believed that Chandra's body was in Luray and I've had to admit I was wrong. However, Sperry does not address the strangeness of Condit's late-night call to AMS. I drove to that McDonald's where the infamous call took place. I went down there on a beautiful, sunny August day and was struck at how remote and difficult the place is to reach. Added to the fact that Condit was down there on a Saturday night after McDonald's had closed, on a rainy night to boot, then I think the circumstances merit further investigation. I do think he is right about one thing. I think that the revelation that Condit was romantically linked to Chandra was the reason behind his visit. Until that time, he had every reason to believe no one knew of his relationship to her and therefore, her disappearance would never touch him. He discovered just how wrong he was the weekend he appeared in Luray on a dark, rainy, dreary night.

"Lime operations," stressed someone who actually had motored out to the McDonald's to poke around.

Was that you twigs? I remember your account of your visit quite well and thank you again for posting it last year.

Sperry seems quite cocky of his position that Condit didn't do it. I felt the same way until they found Chandra's remains in the same park that Condit used to ride his bike, etc.

I'm not certain that Condidit, but I'm leaning that way now, especially with his shady timeline that was twice corrected before he released it to the general public; once about the length of time spent with the Veep and the other about his dinner or drinks with the ABC news babe that actually occurred one night later. (I'm going from memory, pls feel free to correct my recollection if faulty)
