Know what you mean about avoiding; but coming out of a 91 Volvo 240 and having owned the minivan for only ten hours, I am liking it fine.

One of my mates at work, who also recently went to a minivan was lamenting the "image" that went along with it.

That was not a factor for me; because, as anyone who recognizes me knows, I care not a dam what anyone, except God and my family thinks of me.

I am no expert at all, and I did not drive every single model in my price range ($15k - $20k) and milage (under 30k). I could not afford the Honda, which would be my first choice.

I like sitting up higher and being able to see around them nasty old SUV's. And, I like all the bells and whistles; radio controls on the steering wheel, etc.

Handles well - again this is the Chrysler. I believed the EPA on the mpg ('posed to be decent.) That will be a big factor as to whether don-o stays with it. I can live with 20; 14 will put that thing back on a car lot, tout suite.

And, I bought with a clear conscience, having re-upped on this Freepathon.
