Stranger and stranger. Makes me wonder whether they actually know who the perp is but are putting up smokescreens with guy from the car, etc., so as not to upset the perp while they try to locate him, sneek up on him, and grab Elizabeth.

A few days ago, I saw interview of parents conducted in front of their home and mom was speaking directly TO Elizabeth. "We love you," that kind of stuff. Which also made me wonder whether they knew she was still alive somewhere. Perhaps they have been contacted for ransom, are even in negotiations with kidnapper, but are keeping it mum so the press doesn't louse it up. All they need is a vanload of stupid reporters trying to track down the perp to interview him and it could be all over for Elizabeth.

No theory is too weird for this case. It's like having a big thrashing cat in a burlap bag. We know there's a lot going on, but not quite sure what.

They all seem confident that Elizabeth is alive.
Do you think they know the family member who has taken her.....this is so weird!

I think all the CTists have jumped on this thread. LOL! Lots of speculation, and rumors, are to be expected in the absence of facts. The only thing the public needs to know is information that the LEOs feel will help them find Elizabeth, and capture the abductor. It certainly creates an atmosphere of mystery, but that's the way its gotta be.
