I hear your arguments, but I just think you are wrong. Just as you think I am wrong. Being a strict Constitutionalist is fine and dandy, but even Thomas Jefferson's interpretation and PRACTICE of Presidential powers would probably not hold up to your interpretation of the Constitution. In fact, Jefferson's war against the Barbary Pirates had no formal Declaration of War, and he is one of the Founders!!!!
