While I'll admit that I haven't looked at every single company listed, the investment page of their most recent annual report (http://www.newscorp.com/report2001/fin_con/shareholder.html) doesn't indicate any significant Islamic investment.

Have I missed something that you are pointing toward?

This thread is a great idea, we need to know just how deeply the Saudi's are involved in US corporations, and how deep they are into the pockets of politicians.

Doesn't Prince Abdullah own alot of AOL Time Warner?

Thanks for the response, but who has controlling interset in those corporations that own AOL Time Warner? The reason I asked was because I caught a snippet on the news about Abdullah and AOL Time Warner.

Looks like I'm going to be doing some digging on goole.com.

Lookie here, I had the wrong Saudi Prince, but to me they all sound alike.

Former New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani may have returned Prince al-Waleed's $10 million contribution to a World Trade Center relief fund last October, but that hasn't stopped the 46-year-old Saudi royal from injecting $1 billion into the U.S. stock markets since then. In recent months, he has upped his investments in major American corporations like AOL-Time Warner, and Citigroup, in which he is the largest individual shareholder.

The world's 11th-richest person found plenty of other places to put his money and influence, though. He is now forming a $1 billion Kingdom Hotel Investment Group to invest in hotels in the Middle East. And during the KirchMedia crisis, he offered to mediate between Rupert Murdoch and fellow stakeholders. Paparazzi may trail some princes, but money managers follow this one.

This isn't all I have found, seems the Saudi's are very interested in investing in agriculture, wouldn't have anything to do with the huge Farm Bill that just passed into law would it? Nice to know they may have a big stake in the control of corporate farming, to which most of the Farm Bill "pork" will go, not to mention control of our FOOD!! Those sneaky Muslims only pretend not to like alcohol, exotic dancers, and pork.

Shame on you!
This is one time I wish I was a moderator! I would 86 your rude post!
First place, the bird is darn cute, second place, this fund raiser comes along only a few times a year and you can deal with the posts for a little while!
