Bahrain's crown prince said in remarks published on Thursday that he opposed Palestinian attacks against Israeli civilians and urged fellow Arabs to united behind this "principled position".
"Bahrain opposes the targeting of Israeli civilians by Palestinian operations," the London-based al-Hayat daily quoted Crown Prince Sheikh Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa as saying. "They should instead be directed against Israeli occupation forces...including armed settlers."
Sheikh Salman said rejecting attacks against civilians was a "principled position that all Arab countries ought to agree upon because it served Arab and Muslim causes in regional and international arenas".
"Continued attacks against Israeli civilians could push the Israeli community to rally behind widescale retaliatory operations which would greatly exceed what happened in Jenin without any move by the international community to protect the Palestinians," the crown prince said.

Bahrain opposes the targeting of Israeli civilians by Palestinian operations,They should instead be directed against Israeli occupation forces...including armed settlers." Naturally anyone who is classified as dead who is not an armed settler will be issued a firearm in order that they may be re-classified as an armed settler and may be shot again...thank you...

The Gulf Daily News from Bahrain is an interesting read. Hits the net between 11PM and midnight EDT. The country is split. The Sunni ruling class is on our side. The majority Shi'ites are being stirred up by Iranian Hezbollah to kick our 5th Fleet Headquarters off the island.
Last month, the government banned AL Jazira TV. They said it was "Zionist"...lol. The Sunnis are doing all they can to get people's minds off Jews and Palestinians.

It's a bit odd though. He urges them not to attack citizens but to go against Israeli forces. I don't like him, and I don't trust him. The Palistinians should not be at war with Israel PERIOD. It's THEM that have to STOP the war, not the Israelis.

You are right. And I don't think any of the militants are listening to such message. I thinks it's more PR.
