Wonder if it was the uncle? I heard him on Hannity's radio show earlier this week refer to his niece as a "woman" and then quickly correct himself. I found it quite odd. Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know, I need a little more tinfoil for my hat.

He said "woman"? Sounds like Mr. Ramsey calling JonBenet "that child."
Take off the tin foil hat. There was a thread about a Fox show where Marc Klass mentioned that the uncle didn't want the younger sister to help a police sketch, which Klass found strange. There's other explanations, maybe.

Which uncle? They have a large extended family. The mother's brother or the father's brother?

Interesting OReilly Segment RE: Elizabeth Smart (6/11)
"...O'Reilly then asked Klaas if the family was following his (Klass's) advice. Klaas said the he had strongly recommended a forensic artist to help the young sister get the face of the abductor on paper, since that was the best clue they had. Klaas said that though the police were reluctant to do this, he had almost convinced the mother and father to meet with the artist, but that the meeting was nixed at the last minute by Elizabeth's uncle. Ask why the uncle did this, Klaas said he had no idea..."
Various reasons why the cops might not want it - tactical, maybe. But the uncle?
Some say Klass is pushy, but I think he's a smart and subtle guy who knows what he's doing.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know, I need a little more tinfoil for my hat. Not necessarily.
The great majority of violent crime is perpetrated by familiar people. Familiar as in Family.

No you don't need tinfoil, my husband took one look at Susan Smith on the very first day that her children vanished and said, she's lying, she killed them.
I had no reason to doubt his accuracy, having been married to this man for years I am over being amazed with how astute he is, I really envy that about him.

Did you happen to catch what the father of Polly Kloss had to say about the Uncle basicly obstructing the efforts he was suggesting, primarily a sketch artist due the the fact the 9 yr. old sister SAW the Kidnapper. I saw him on O'reilly and listened the next day on Hannity. O'reilly also had the Uncle's daughters on opposit Mr.Kloss and they were saying they had NOT talk to their father (the Uncle) about the obdutcion. Kinda Strange.

I think you're onto something because that same uncle was nasty to Mr. Klaas (Polly's father) when he was trying to help out, in an area in which he is (unfortunately) very qualified.
