I have a Remington 1100 semi auto 3 inch mag with a 36 inch vented barrel that does a great job.
My son used my old 870 AP twelve on his first goose and now has that gun as his shotgun of choice.

And an old Eastfield Mod 916, 6shot 3"mag, 26" barrel made by S&W...it still shoots great.
Several of us get together, go up in the hills and bust clays, that old mod 916 more than holds it's own...pisses off the guys with the expensive scatter guns...heeheehee
