Look up "vain repetitions" in your scriptures. Then do your OWN thinking for a change.

I think you're pushing the reference here.
Somehow someone who has successfully lost weight to the point where their daily (ostracizing) public weigh-in may cease, says, "Thank you, thank you, Jesus" is considered by you first, to be taking the Lord's name in vain and second, to be using vain repetition?
