How reliable would a poll like this be? About like a Newsweek poll? Sounds agenda driven to me and with diseenters loath to express their opinions, for fear of retaliation, how reliable can it be?

Jealosy, hate, envy, intellectual dishonesty and just plain slothful laziness all combine to reinforce this attitude among the Palestinians every day. No wonder the other Arab states won't take them in. They don't even make adequate welfare recipients.

I'll make a prediction. I predict that there will NEVER be a Palestinian state in the West Bank, and in fact, Israel will take over the ENTIRE West Bank, possibly by war, but more likely by a huge influx of Jewish immigrants from Europe settling there. (Though there will still be many Pali's living in the W.B. but they will live there in full acceptance of Israeli rule)

After Israel wins the ENTIRE West Bank, they will reunify Jerusalem and rebuild their Temple right on the Temple Mount.

These polls put the whole hallucinatory "peace process" into a harsh light of reality. Peace process is the self delusionary activity of leftists trying to project their wholly unrealistic view of human nature and of the nature of human society onto the real world. No amount of failure, no amount of evidence will ever lead them to give it up, because it is an essential part of their self - identity. Without it, they would no longer be what they are. So they cling to it, no matter what the cost in bloodshed and suffering.

What alternatives exist for dealing with people like these, apart from penning them into a technologically barren prison-state whose borders are guarded by lots of men with lots of scary weapons, or dispersing them so widely that the whole notion of a "Palestinian" ceases to exist?

The former treatment is the more palatable, but I keep thinking of Manhattan in John Carpenter's movie Escape From New York, and wonder if it would be a cure or only the postponement of inevitable genocide.

how reliable can it be?

Support for the intifada has been guaged by several polls, since it started 2 yrs ago, and the results have been pretty consistent.

You need only read about what's taught in the schools, whats broadcast every day, whats screamed from every pulpit.

A majority of Palestinians believe the aim of their 20-month-old uprising should be to eliminate Israel and not just end Israeli occupation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip ( news - web sites), an opinion poll released Tuesday showed.

An idependent "Palestinian" state would have a lot in common with the de facto independent Chechen bandit state of the mid-1990s to 2000, and with the "conditionally independent" Shiptar/KLA entity in Kosovo that exists today.

Both bandit Chechnya and KLA Kosovo have preyed on their neighbors with terrorist attacks and outright invasions, such as the ongoing invasion of FYR Macedonia. They also have been or are centers for large-scale organized crime, and export terrorists and criminal thugs far and wide.

BOTH must be utterly crushed, and no independent, armed "Palestinian" state must be allowed to come into being. Stop islamic expansion wherever you find it!!!!

Looks like the Palestinian people are making a big mistake. Can't make them stop it, but there's enough of them that want Israel wiped out that this could leave Israel in the position of having to choose between getting wiped out, or taking out those who would wipe them out before they are capable of wiping Israel out.

If this is how the Palestinian people feel, then it's time to let Israel loose.

51 percent want Israel extinguished. How lovely. The real proportion is probably around 80 to 90 percent. Rest assured, there won't be peace in the Middle East any time soon and as long they believe in both this and the proposition suicide bombings are a godsend, don't look for a Palestinian state to be born in this world for a long time to come.
