Only a couple of problems with your info. Michael Skakel is not now and was never a Kennedy. He is related only to Robert Kennedy's widow, and her children are his first cousins on their mother's side. The Skakel family was old money and very, very rich in their own right long before Ethel married into the Kennedy clan. It was Rushton Skakel, Ethel Kennedy's brother, who helped his son cover up for killing Martha. The Kennedy side of the family was not involved. In fact, Michael Skakel's book proposal indicated he was planning on dishing a lot of dirt about the Kennedy family. They were not happy about that and none of them showed him any support during the trial.

I despise the Kennedys and all they stand for, and believe that Ted Kennedy is at least guilty of negligent homicide in Mary Jo's death. But facts are facts. The Moxley murder was committed by a Skakel, not a Kennedy.

I never bought Patricia "Blue-Dot" Bowman's story. The sex seemed pretty consensual from the evidence at hand and the whole thing sounded like she wished to avail herself of some Kennedy perks. Plus, the prosecution did a miserable job of presenting its case. Including Moira whats-her-name, the prosecutor that found it impossible to believe that Kennedy-Smith had been able to perform twice in the same evening. "What are you, some sort of sexual Superman?" she asked Kennedy-Smith. And then she called Teddy in what must have been the biggest non-event in the history of jurisprudence. From his testimony, we learned that the two of them went drinking that night and that the Kennedy compound has no air conditioning. That's it. Who puts on a witness for THAT!?!?

I'm no Kennedyphile, but the Patty Bowman case was an anomaly to me - a groundless accusation against a Kennedy. Maybe the only one EVER.

The difference between Smith and Skakel is that Smith's mother is a Kennedy, whereas Skakel is not related to the Kennedys at all except that his father's sister married Bobby Kennedy. Smith is a grandson of Joseph P. and Mrs. Rose Kennedy. Neither Michael Skakel's mother nor his father are related to the Kennedys in any way. I'm sure you meant it humorously, though.

Let's not forget Rosemary Kennedy, JFK's sister. She wouldn't change her wild ways so Joe Kennedy ordered Doctors to perform a lobotomy on her, leaving her brain damaged. Rosemary had to spend the rest of her life institutionalized.

While I usually don't entertain these types of "news", I do recall supermarket tabloid speculation that JFK Jr's wife may have been expecting. So maybe one more woman. This led me to think of all the aborted thanks to the Kennedys' staunch support of "choice".
