Hey, I find it interesting that no one in the media, or elswhere that I seen has mentioned that this guy is Mexican. And I would bet you that he or his parents came here illegally. This shows how much illegals love America! Ship them all back!

Thanks for posting this. A job WELL DONE by our intelligence community. Now that the RULES have been relaxed,.. we are safer. They are catching people wishing us harm. Job well done!!!

You don't think per chance we have any training day types infiltrating the prison mosque? Or are they too busy making that quilt.
To: concerned about politics
I don't think this is a slam at Catholics. I think it's meant to point out that this guy isn't an Arab and he isn't a lifelong Moslem, he's a [somewhat] normal American who
chose to become an Islamic terrorist.
Understand, if you're a big tough gang-banger, Islam must hold a tremendous appeal, because Islam is the biggest and toughest gang of them all, and better yet it gives you a free pass to rob and kill all those infidels out in Dar al-Harb.

"It's just that twice they mentioned he was Catholic first. Why? Is that really important? "Maybe, maybe not, I don't know. The only thing I think is pertinent is that he was engaged in a plot to do damage to our country.
Beyond that, everything else is just filler.

He'd look good with a bullet hole in his head.I'd vote for a daily radioactive suppository and solitary confinement until he wastes away.

why don't we operate the state run prisions like we do the state run schools. No prayer or relgious meetings on the premises during official hours (which is 20 to life for most of them)

I find it interesting that no one in the media, or elswhere that I seen has mentioned that this guy is MexicanThat's because he's NOT Mexican. He was born in the USA and is Puerto Rican.

It looks like the Bush team's heightened alert and increased intelligence gathering has paid off bigtime.
It also looks like the voices of the Lunatic Left have not stopped them from profiling.
To hell with the "Liberals"! Prifile aggressively! Stop these Islamic terrorists, most of whom are from Islamic, Middle Eastern countries, before they can accomplish their blood-thirsty, murderous, evil, violent designs.
To: RedBloodedAmerican
And anyone who doesn't like it can go to hell.

That, sir, is the 64-million-dollar question!

In Florida, he was convicted in 1991 in Sunrise on charges of aggravated assault and discharging a firearm, court records show. Padilla, who identified himself as Catholic when he was booked on those charges, served one year of supervised release, until Aug. 4, 1993. A Justice official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Padilla converted to Islam after his 1993 release. This is bogus. They don't ask for your religious preferences when they book you into Broward County jail. Overkill to build Ashcroft's PR case/ I just saw a lawyer on MSNBC who said they had to release him for lack of evidence, or pull this lewgal maneuver. That's why the press conference today, because otherwise they had to release for lack of evidence. This guy sounds like a convenient dupe-not a nuke terrorist.
To: RedBloodedAmerican
Interesting, another Florida connection!
