I wish you worked for the FBI or CIA - I'd certainly sleep better at night.

What is obvious is that the DC police sure are chumps -- or, they are doing a fine job of coverup and don't mind that it makes them look way stupid. I guess a lot of cold hard cash could make one overlook appearances.

I don't see the USC sweatshirt listed in your write up of the actual clothes found. Are you saying that there is no sweatshirt, or did you forget it? Several news reports specifially mentioned the USC sweatshirt.

From the articles I've read, I am not entirely clear on the tights. Were they tights, aka opaque stockings? Or were they leggings, aka tight knitted pants? I can see her popping out in a sweatshirt and leggings. Leggings are stretchy and might be described as tights by newspaper reporters who don't know the difference.

I meant to say that your analysis is very interesting and may have merit -- except, how would Gary get her gym bag?

I hadn't heard this new story that Chandra extended her membership. Can you provide a source?

The initial reports of a USC sweatshirt were incorrect, the MPDC now says it is a USC t-shirt. There was never any report of sweat pants. That leaves as attire: running tights, shorts, running bra, t-shirt. It may have been a little warm for running tights; but if she was going to meet Condit in Rock Creek Park, she may have been wearing them so as not to cut her legs. I don't have any reason to think she was wearing something else when she disappeared. Condit was a control freak and would not have ben happy with her storing clothes at his apt, though she may have wanted to. (Remember how uspet he got when AMS found one of Chandra's hairs?)

As for the gym membership -- it is my understanding that she had to give a 30-day notification of closing the gym membership, and that is what she did April 30. Washington Sports Club has a deal with sister company New York Sports Club and apparently other regional gyms that enable someone with a WSC emmbership to use facilities in other cities. The gym clerk was interviewed last year explaining this, you should be able to find the article on lexis-nexis if you can't in the FR archives.

It is now being alleged that, so far from the whole body being dumped here [perhaps soon after the killing], that the ENTIRE LEFT LEG INCLUDING HIP AND BUTTOCK, from the waist down, was cut off and is (or was) missing, something random action of animals would not be likely to cause. The entire remainder of the skeleton, including entire right leg, and including tiny bones of the hands and the right foot, and the hyoid bone in the throat, were present and accounted for.

The nature of the cut which involves dividing the tough left pelvis bone separate from both the right side of that bone, and the spine, would tend to rule out animal activity. The left femur is also still missing in its entirety.

The later bringing of the (left) tibia alone, attached to a wire, back to the search area on the slope in Rock Creek Park, was also unlikely to have been the work of small rodents.

"Any self-respecting squirrel would bet its two front teeth that this was the work of human beings," according to Crystalk, an expert in matters squirrelly.

We are living in very dangerous times in which both foreign and, in turns out, domestic radical Islamists want to kill as many of us as possible. And THIS is what you obsess about? Of course, it is your absolute right to do so — and believe me, I do understand the appeal of a good mystery. But, as Snoopy says to Charlie Brown, "Good Grief!!!" In spinning tortured theories and obsessing over the most obsure details of this tragedy, I hope you leave room for something more in your life.

My head is spinning. One thing we know for sure - the DC police are a bunch of mindless idiots. It's almost as if they purposefully screw up. Will Chandra Levy's family ever get justice and peace of mind? Doesn't look like any time soon. P.S. We have not forgotten; Gary Condit's ROTTEN!

While we're here speculating on what happened to Chandra, Gary Condit is still sitting on the House Intelligence Committee. What a sickening creep! Him and all his friends and family and staff - a bunch of creeps from hell!

, if someone who was throwing out her bones (body, corpse) in Rock Creek Park had only a nude body, whether fresh or decomposing, and wanted to set it up to look like she had been attacked there.

You don't take a body where it will be found. That has never happened in the history of crime. You take a body, if you have an unwanted incriminating body on your hands, where it will NEVER be found....your chances are much better of avoiding prosecution and the case "going away" ((as the Chandra case DID)) if there is no body and the person is mysteriously missing, than if you "plant" the body somewhere to make it "look like" something. It just does not happen.

Joyce Chiang and Christine Mirzayan, like Chandra Levy, petite brunette California Democrat (former) interns, died mysterious, unsolved deaths. Were they connected to Gary Condit? Gary Condit's biggest expenditure for the first 6 months of 1999, was a payout of $10,000 to Mike Lynch on Feb 3, 1999, 25 days after Joyce Chiang vanished. Nothing else even comes close in $ amounts. $10,000 is such a nice even number too. A poster at the ChandraLevy.com forum has found a good nugget of info -- Condit was in Spain in August 1998, according to this page - http://www.house.gov/agriculture/105/egysp.htm , and according to the Washington CityPaper article on dead California Democrat intern Joyce Chiang, she was in Spain some time in 1998 too! 29 posted on 6/10/02 8:19 PM Pacific by concerned about politics [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 1 | View Replies | Report Abuse ] --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

but one would NEVER jog or go on a long walk in spandex tights

I hate to disagree with you on this, but I run in spandex all the time. They feel good, but my wife insists that I wear something over them.

A comparison between the knots in Condits ties as found by Anna Nicole Smith under condits bed which made her scared and the knots in the stocking found would of been interesting

For some reason Gary Condit reminds people of Gray Davis and vice versa. Something about those two is equally creepy.

It is totally non-credible that Chandra would have gone out to meet Gary, or to lunch with friends, or even to a bank or shopping, in the attire found on the slope in Rock Creek Park. Even AT the gym, would she not have showered and changed back into something more street-worthy before going home?

The above thesis is totally non-credible.
