There is an old adage - Know your client. If the Brits really had wanted to encourage Clinton to do the right thing, they would have wired $50K to the DNC along with the information. Hell, for $100K, they could have had slept in the Lincoln bedroom and had a law passed. Oh, well, ya just have to know how to work the pols, especially if the one you are working with is a traitor.

I have the report but don't remember that being in there, mewzilla. And it 's useless looking (without re-reading the entire thing) because there isn't an index.

Can you imagine such an important document without an index???? That's always ticked me off and struck me as unprofessional.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, the Senate Intelligence Report did state that we received 74 reports from different sources that Iraq was training intelligence officers to attack America or American interests.

Only if I want to make the report harder than Hades to use.

Which was the point I gather.

The 9-11 Commission has a searchable website. http://www.9-11commission.gov/

An inquiry will pull results from testimony and reports, including staff reports. The preview pane is worthless tho, so you still have to slog thru some stuff.

As an interesting aside, the staff reports carry a caveat that the commissioners do not necessarily endorse everything in the report, as (paraprhasing) they can't look at everything. No kidding. http://www.9-11commission.gov/

Good gad. The most horrific attack on our mainland in our nation's history, and the commission wouldn't vouch for what it produced.
