Like you, I could have told them the same thing. Years ago when I worked as a secretary, a lesbian temp approached me on the job. She asked if I was interested and I said, firmly No! She said if you don't try it you may not know what you are missing. I told her, I didn't think she'd like it at all, because if she touched me I'd throw up all over her.

I also remember my husband and another guy discussing kissing another man. Both said the same thing - they'd throw up. Do we hate gays? No. We have many gay friends and as long as they don't approach us, we remain friends. These stupid studies annoy me.

The fact that for the last 20 years, Pol. Cor. has driven the media, the educational estab. and even some industries and the military to accept homosexuality as an alternative and, AND an ACCEPTABLE life style. Out here in SoCal there are 3-4 state legislators, Kuehl, Migdan, Goldberg who are using the legal-leg. arena to force this life=style on schools, business, government and would like to go after churches. The fact that some 50 million Christians and other religious groups think that their faith, their scriptures, and historical tradition state that the life-style is not ACCEPTABLE, is now largely discounted. As a Christian, I personally am saddened about that and will not let hatred on either side to disuade me from banking my belief system on life styles determined by our Creator God in Christ. Of course, in today's society, that constitutes homophobia. The very charge that liberals, Dems, gays make is as much a phobia against faith systems that there is but again our culture dismisses that.
