How would you know he never used Daniel?

I did a "find" on "dna", no case, partial match ok, in all 6 transcripts. The only matches were the word "kidnapped". I'm I missing the dna testimony???

I don't, CNN said this as did a local school paper (they might have got it from CNN).
CNN.COM 3/11/2002
Investigators say Danielle was killed by Daniel Alan Westerfield, a 50-year-old engineer who lived just two doors away. The motive was sex, they say. Searches of Westerfield's property revealed child pornography and spots of blood matching Danielle's DNA.
I thought the name match with both Daniel-le, the girlfriend's teenage daughter and Daniel-le van Dam was worth exploring. Especially since Brenda is a known swinger.
Westerfield was devorced in '96, could Brenda have been the other woman?

Do you have Brenda's DOB handy? and is DVD's 5/16/59?

Sounds like the DNA evidence is going to be hard to explain from what I read. Maybe DW is really going to go down. Feldman is going to have to really work for it.

I think the VD's were living in Dallas or Ariz at the time.

I don't think we have the background info to say do we? Is Brenda a SD girl? Westerfield is from SD right?
To: Jaded
Do you know if DVDs DOB is the 5/16/59?...would make him 43.

I don't know a great deal about Brenda. They were married in Florida. DvD went to college in FLA.
DW's another story. Born SD. Moved to Maine at the age of 4. MOved back to SD with parents, aged 16. Graduated 1970(ish) Madison HS. (Don't carve the HS, in stone though it's off the top)Married 1973, divorce 1979-80. Married again 1980, divorced 1996. Two kids. Likes Rum & Coke.
I have way too much of this information in my head, it scares me!!!

For some people, tragedy can bring a couple together. For others, it can tear them apart, especially if one of them starts thinking the other did or didn't do something right.
Example: Brenda starts blaming Damon for not checking on the kids after he found the open door (really I wonder about that too. Don't most parents check on their kids if they find the slightest thing wrong in the house? But I digress). This kind of thing can fester and if the marriage isn't strong to start with, it can break it apart, in my opinion.

The VD's bought a home in Aluchua county Florida 5/30/91 and sold it 3/29/93.....Brenda is Brenda S. Cope-Van Dam

how do you explain the disappearance of elizabeth smart? her parents and siblings were home. they are religious and moral people, yet their daughter was abducted from her own bedroom. horrible things happen to all kinds of families.

Gainsville FL? University of Florida?

Interesting because I know I read they were married in Florida 13-14 years ago. I think it's in the transcripts. I admit I had the 'unkind' thought that maybe they were never legally married in the first place. It used to be called 'common law marriage'. hmmmm
