Actually it is reverse discrimination by the RATSs and RINOs on America's core principle which is primarily based on the Puritan Protestant Ethic. Oliver Cromwell saved the English from imploding laying the foundation for its greatest creative phase culminating in the Empire. The followers who immigrated to America were able to create their Republican ideal more perfectly in the New World as we can see that the USA is currently top of the world and is still the land of the free. But for how long as the PC subversives pander to anti-Christian, anti-English, anti-Constitution, etc. minority elements without a care for the future other than making it a garbge dump for parasites to thrive under the guise of globalization and multiculturalism.

About an hour ago a neighbor called to tell us someone had tried to break into a car parked at her house - in four PM daylight.
The car belonged to a kid helping to clean the garage after the caller's husband had died.

When my answerservicesocialplannerladyfriend asked for a description the caller couldn't bring herself to use color, shade, hair style, or type of attire (color of clothes was OK) in her response.

Good, the perp is about 20, not tall, wearing mostly black or dark blue, and male.
That'll certainly help the police - if the neighbor bothers to call them.

Is there such a thing as "un-profiling"?

I'm not talking about taking Americans of middle eastern ancestry and putting them in camps. I'm not talking about rounding up Americans and holding them indefinitely without cause for questioning. I'm talking about curtailing travel from middle eastern countries for the forseeable future, until we are in a position to better protect ourselves. Obviously, we need better systems in place, and until they are, we don't need the added burden of trying to screen recent arrivals. We need to make sure those who are already here are here legally. All anybody is asking for is reasonableness in the face of a really horrific threat. The rule of law doesn't have to be suspended, but honestly, I can't understand why anyone would object (even if they felt it was because they were of middle eastern background) to cooperating in the attempt to keep our country safe. It's their home, too. I just don't get the incredible reluctance to help. If asked, I'd help in any way I could.

I'm perplexed by their failure to put as much distance between themselves and the extremists which brings me to my final point. I'd like, I mean really, really like, to believe that what happened on September 11 was a case of 19 guys with more hormones than brains who got lucky, but I can't. I'd like to think that Osama bin Ladin is sleeping with his ancestors (I actually think he is) and there aren't 10,000 more waiting to stand in his shoes, but I can't. I'd like, truly like, to believe that Islam is peaceful monotheism without an alter-ego agenda to take over the world, but I'm rapidly reaching the conclusion it isn't. Until we can safeguard our citizenry, protect our way of life, stabilize our borders, account for those who are here but are not citizens, then I think we have to use all available means (within the bounds of human decency and respect for all) to get things in order. It sounds like the INS, FBI, CIA, Justice Department, military and other systems in place to protect us have suffered enormously. It took us a while after Pearl Harbor, too, but brother did we make a come back. I do truly, really, really believe we will do so here and come out victorious.
