While I agree wholeheartedly with the spirit of this, I respectfully disagree that islam deserves the constitutional protection afforded in this country to "religion," as in "freedom of."
Not my opinion.
This has been so ruled by the New York State Supreme Court along about 1892. "...impostors such as 'Mohamet' (their spelling)...are to be harassed."
It is spelled out in islamic "scriptures" that they are to kill all infadels (non-moslems). What more do we need to know?
The "kill the infidel" clauses in their documents prevent them from being religions, IMHO.
Something like a RICO organization would be more like it.
I think this is why you can't get a translation of their documents.
They want to kind of keep a lid on what's in them.
