Actually, they're both white, and about as innocuous a couple as you'd be likely to meet on a holiday weekend at the beach. Not somebody I'd be eyeballing from a distance as "shady characters." Just goes to show ya....

BENJAMIN SIFRIT. Was a former Navy SEAL who had been discharged for bad conduct last month after being court-martialed for being absent without leave, insubordination and wearing unauthorized insignia, according to Defense officials.
ERIKA SIFRIT. Graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in history in 2000 from Mary Washington College and played on the basketball team for two years -- finishing 5th in the nation among Division III schools in 3-point field goal percentage in her freshman year (47.9 percent), according to the school.
