My best advise to the whiners is:
If you don't like the requirement then stay the fu** home. America will do just fine without your sorry as*es, as we has a vast amount of whiners already living here.

Not all visitors from the countries would have to register, officials said. They said the program was aimed at men.Bad idea. You may have noticed some female homicide bombers in Palestine recently ....

This is a big winner for Bush- I read somewhere that most Republicans are for profiling, but suprisingly so are most African Americans as long as it isn't them that are being profiled. White Democrats were on the fence on the issue.

"Hundreds of thousands of people are going to have to register with the authorities. I just find it galling. It will alienate a lot of people," he said. Well, if they are too galled, they can go someplace else where they won't be fingerprinted and photographed. BTW, I think it's discriminatory to only focus on middle-eastern men too, they should also fingerprint and photograph the women.

OK, here's my question: can we please fingerprint the ACLU too? I mean, if we're going after traitors and all.

He told a news conference the government was invoking a little-used law from the early 1950s and applying it to countries identified as having the highest risk for terrorism. It's about time. Good work Mr. Ashcroft. This idea would have prevented 9/11 back in 1993 if Clinton were an adult president. Never count on an oversexed teen to do a real mans job.

In practice it may not do too much good, but in symbolism and theory it will speak volumes. If the terrorists had been Guamanians we'd be doing the same thing to them; the Towel Set must understand that. If not, I'm certainly not losing any Zs.
After the environmental report flap this makes my heart glad. Hopefully this is a precurser of more practical prevention measures... I hate to sound like an isolationist but if (when, according to some) we get burned by a portable nuke the libs will start to assimilate things in the proper perspective...
God bless and keep the Union!

"The Bush administration is, step by step, isolating Muslim and Arab communities both in the eyes of the government and the American people," They did that themselves when they said kill the infedels- meaning us.

I like it if the Arabs don't. How can US citizens of Arab descent have any problems with this fingerprinting? It's not for US citizens, it's for foreigners for Pete's sake! No non-citizen has a "right" to visit the US. It is a privilege extended by the People of the United States.
If they want to finger print the Canadians as a nominal "balance" to make the Arabs feel better, feel free to do so. I don't think many of the Canadians will turn out to be terrorists; they are far too polite.

In fact, I am in favor of mass deportations. Will be until I die. If we don't, we are going to pay an awful price later.

"The Bush administration is, step by step, isolating Muslim and Arab communities both in the eyes of the government and the American people," said Timothy Edgar of the ACLU.Hmmm....methinks that the Arab and muslim communities were isolated, in one fell swoop by 19 men on 9/11. If anything, these steps are the tolerable minimum that should be put into place to restrict the movements of potential terrorists. If the musli don't like it....then THEY can take anti-terrorist actions. Prove to me you aren't my enemy and I will consider relaxing the requirements, but don't.... don't tell me that I have to set myself up for another hit just because your feelings get hurt.
