Audiogalaxy is excellent.
Some of the file-sharing programs listed above (Imesh, KaZaA) share ALL file types, so whatever you do, do NOT place confidential files in directories that you share with the entire internet. I'm amazed at how many people do this.

I'm amazed at how many people do this. Serves them right if you ask me. They're stealing from someone else when they swap music files. So someone gets their confidential files. It's only "digital information" that should be freely exchanged, as another poster here suggested.

It's very good but is now getting sued.
Run Ad-Aware after installing any of these. If you've installed Kazaa Lite don't delete the "CTL - something".dll file, its a dummy that simulates the spyware.

Agree. AudioGalaxy is the best I've used (of Morpheus, WinMX, Aimster, and BearShare.)

Audiogalaxy used to be good, now it ain't worth a damn.Half the music I downloaded before now has been copyrighted and it won't let you get it.Of course I grabbed everything I could get my greedy little hands on.All this guilt trip about stealing tunes don't bother me.I'd be glad to pay a subscibtion just to get anything else I want.I can't stand going into a music store these days and have to listen to that new age/world music/rap crap they blast at full volume.I'd rather get music online, even if I have to buy it,in the comfort of my home, while listening to what the hell I want to listen to.
